HWT aims to maintain correct information to guests in all marketing material. All prices, itinerary details, and general information are deemed to be correct at the time of publishing, but may be subject to change without notice. The terms and conditions provided here apply to all products and services offered by HWT whether accessed via our website, facebook, printed brochure, the third-party website, promotional flyer or any other marketing material. -
Cancellation Policy: Please provide notice of cancellation or any requests for changes to your booking in writing (via email).
- Within 0 – 10 days – no refund.
- Within 11 – 30 days – 50% of the booking will be refunded.
- At least 30 days from date of booking – full refund less $20 administration fee.
- Without written notice or non attendance (no-show) – no refund under any circumstances.
Tours will go ahead unless there is a heatwave or storm.
Guests are advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance to cater for any unforeseen circumstances. No responsibility will be taken by HWT for booking agents misrepresenting any tour or activity by HWT. We will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from or connected with HWT and actives, no matter how that loss, damage or injury was caused.

Unless otherwise stated, all guided tours are based on a minimum number of 2 Adult guests or pay for 2. Encourage a friend or pay for 2, for a tour to proceed.
Once minimum numbers are reached singles and children are very welcome. Please call prior to booking if you have any questions.
Children are very welcome however call 0477288011 to discuss pricing.
Group tours are a maximum of 25, unless by prior arrangement.. -
Hahndorf Walking Tours (HWT) does carry public liability insurance for all tours and follows all applicable laws and regulations in our operations. We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to any valuables or personal items carried on tour and do not accept any responsibility for the deterioration of the health of any passenger that results in any illness, injury or death. In booking a tour, guests accept the policies as outlined here and accept that any activity always involves some risk.
HWT will not be held responsible for any injury or loss to yourself or your possessions.
Hahndorf Walking Tours provides no warranties and disclaims any liability in regard to any goods/food items provided by a third party such as strudel construction, the meal provided during the Hahndorf After Dark Tour, tastings etc
It is the responsibility of the guest to take personal responsibility and verifies that any food items provided as part of the service are safe for consumption.
If guests do not arrive at the agreed meeting point on time and miss the commencement or part of the tour they are not entitled to any compensation.

No filming or recording is permitted during HWT activities unless written permission is provided. Still photography is permitted for personal use only.
If any photography is to be used for business purposes permission must be sought from HWT. -
All tours will depart regardless of weather conditions. Guests are required to dress appropriately to the weather conditions. The duration and/or itinerary of the tour may be reduced or changed for the comfort of guests in poor weather conditions. In these circumstances, no refunds will be given.
However, if HWT cancels the tour due to severe weather conditions the tour will be rescheduled or a full refund provided within a reasonable time frame. -
